OUR MINISTRIES
At First AG VB, we have so many areas of ministry that you can be a part of. Our goal is to create opportunities for you to build relationships with others, strengthen your relationship with the Lord through discipleship, and being the hands and feet of Jesus by serving. Check out our ministries listed below.
FIRST AG VB KIDS
First AG VB Kids is an environment that cultivates a foundation for our children to build a relationship with Jesus. We are passionate about raising them up by teaching them scripture, answering questions, and guiding them through what life with Jesus looks like. All children ages 3-11 are welcome.
BULLDOGS CARE FOOD PROGRAM
One of things that we are most passionate about is feeding the kids of our community. Studies show that in our area, 71% of children are only eating one meal a day. Because of that reason, we have put in place an At-Risk (CACFP) Food Program. We serve approximately 500 meals a week that provide Child Nutrition requirements. We are always interested in taking more volunteers to help us reach the needs of our community.
DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
A sisterhood of welcoming women to be who they are and who God has called them to be. This ministry's focus is to create community of encouragement, discipleship, and fun. Throughout the year, we have many events that are all about ladies, food, Jesus, and engaging activities. We believe in empowering women and filling them up so that they continue to do what they are destined to do.
FIRST AG VB YOUTH
First AG VB Youth is driven by allowing students to encounter Jesus for themselves and allowing Him to be center of their life. Youth is designed to be a fun place where everyone belongs and welcomed. We welcome grades 6-12 to come hang out with us.
REAL BROTHERS ASSEMBLE
A community of men who are focused on becoming leaders of their households, growing a stronger relationship with Jesus, and supporting other men. This ministry's main focus is discipleship and encouraging conversation about Jesus. Real Brothers meets every other Tuesday for Bible Study and Dinner.
DEBBIE'S DINER
The wonderful, Debbie Gibbs had the idea of starting a ministry of having dinner on Wednesday nights before services. Every week, we provide a free themed delicious meal with the help of our church family. Get free food at 6 and get your Jesus at 7! Come and join in on our fun!
